Spring is in the Air

I was so delighted when I received this beautiful bouquet of tulips!! My friend Lorrie sent them to me last Friday at school to say thank you for being in her classroom. What a friend!! I love tulips but look at the colours! I love the way they close up for the night and yet in the morning, there they are smiling!! Whoohoo!

Sweet Treats

It was time to get back to my Cricut

so I made a "sweet" card using the

Create a Critter cartridge. I embossed
the icing with Swirls and added some
stickles. The paper is from Bo Bunny
"Love Shack Shakes" and the
sentiment is Stampin Bella. Glossy accents
were added to the heart.

Birthday Bling

Here is the second challenge for the Bugaboo Birthday Bash. I  used the Clown image and coloured with Copics, some unknown paper and voila! It's a cute birthday card. I am still not getting a clear picture. If anyone has any ideas for taking pictures, It would be welcomed!

Blue and White

Bugaboo is having a birthday and I have decided to enter my card into their first challenge of the week. It is a Bugaboo digistamp called "Just a Note ". I have been wanting to try out music  paper, distressed, and inked in a card. I used the Lacey Circles Nestabilities, and the Cricut cartridge George to create the circle, and some glammer dust on the note and angel wing to add a bit of bling. A few pop dots added some dimension.  I wasn't sure how it would look but I think it turned out all right. Thanks for visiting!

Need a Lift?

Two weeks ago tonight, I had a call from a friend who had just fallen and had broken her ankle! Ouch! She needed surgery and would be home for a good while. She asked me to come out of retirement and teach her grade one French Immersion class for as long as I could. I would do anything for a good friend and so I have been called back into action. It has been a busy two weeks and I have loved being back with the children. I made her a get well card to boost her spirits. Her favourite colours are pink and purple and she loves wearing a little black dress, even with a broken ankle! I haven't used my Cricut so it was time to get it out of the closet. There have been lots of tears and laughs about how she is going to get around and so the scooter from Sweethearts seemed like the perfect solution. I used Copic markers on her hair, arms and legs as there was too much layering going on. I added Glamour Dust on her shoes, the carrier, her arm, the lights and a gel pen around the heart and tires. She loves bling!  I think she is going to like it! I hope it fits the challenge at:

a character? I made this card for my friend who is
celebrating her birthday this week and she was thrilled!
I used Copic markers and a little glitter for the cupcake,
some pop dots, and the paper is from Imaginisce.
